EDC's H.O. is surrounded by a vibrant precinct that includes the new award winning CDB, restaurants and casual dining galore, and is opposite the Sunshine Coast's major shopping precinct, Sunshine Plaza.
All of this and only 10 minutes walk to some of the best river and oceanfront beaches Queensland has to offer.

Public Transport and Parking​

Within 50 metres of the office is the main Maroochydore public bus terminus with services to all parts of the Sunshine Coast region, including to the railway station connecting to Brisbane and all parts of QLD to the north.

Whilst the H.O. parking spaces are limited, the surrounding precinct offers an extensive range of car parking options.

Sunshine Coast University Hospital
Offers extensive Public and Private Hospital facilities, technology and services including a state of the art Emergency facility.
It is connected via helicopter services to other major S.E. QLD hospitals.
Buderim Private Hospital
Offers extensive surgery and specialist services and also offers a renowned Private Emergency facility.

Inter Regional Connectivity

Sunshine Coast International Airport
Capital Cities - direct flights several times a day to Sydney and Melbourne and direct flights to Canberra and Adelaide, via Qantas, Jet Star and Virgin airlines, together with other regional airports in Australia.
Sunshine Coast's own Bonza airline provides jet services to regional centres across QLD and NSW.
Air New Zealand also offers direct flights to Auckland several times a week.

Train and bus services also connect to other regions and to Brisbane on a frequent basis.
EDC's Operating Environment

EDC strives to offer a flexible working environment for employees (subject to the requirements of their role). All local team members arerequired to attend the office for a set number of hours each week to participate in project briefings, team meetings and allow for leadership management of projects and outcomes.
Each employee will have the ability to also work from home for an agreed period each week, (subject to the requirements of their role). Achieving a life balance is important to us.

Contracting with EDC

EDC undertakes a range of projects in the renewable energy sector from solar farms, solar farm and BESS and BESS only and will in 2024 add hybrid projects including wind and hydrogen production to the mix.
